Beware there is a strange looking creature lurking around the Primary 1 classroom this week…The Gruffalo! The children have had great fun retelling the story with lots of expression and different voices for the animal characters.
Our Literacy activities this week have been based on Stickman and The Gruffalo by Julia Donaldson. We sequenced stories, made character descriptions and even a lost poster! We have been busy!
We have also been very creative this week drawing, collaging and painting pictures of characters from the Gruffalo. We tried hard to remember some of the key features from the story and use them in our pictures.
