Today, P2 began their Autumn themed play. The Autumn café was open for business and the children enjoyed taking on the many different roles that this entailed. Our chef made some beautiful autumnal dishes and our waitress took great care looking after their customers. They even used their numeracy skills when operating the till. P2 used playdough to create their own leaves using the colours of autumn. They also made some amazing autumnal bracelets and could show us their pattern making skills. The children also had the opportunity to work in the construction area where they could be found building barns for the farm animals. Lastly, we used our cutting and sticking skills to create some leaves which we are going to use to decorate our classroom. Well done P2!
