Primary 1 had an amazing time exploring their 5 senses as part of our 'All About Me' topic.
In groups, the boys and girls rotated around special sense tables:
Smell Table: With blindfolds on and Edel's help, everyone guessed mystery scents—from chocolate to oranges—and shared their ideas.
Touch Table: Sabrina led the 'Sense of Touch' table, where children explored feely boards and matched words to describe what they felt.
Hearing Table: Using ICT, we played a 'Guess the Animal' game, listening carefully to animal sounds and making our best guesses.
Tasting Table: There were lots of surprised faces as we tried new flavours, discussing which were sweet, sour, or bitter.
Sight Table: To finish, everyone put on 3D glasses and watched the magic happen right before their eyes.
We had so much fun and are now much more confident in using and exploring our 5 senses!
