Once Upon a Court!
Primary 1 have been thoroughly enjoying their story of the week, The Three Little Pigs, but today their learning took an exciting and unexpected twist.
The children arrived to find a mysterious crime scene outside, along with a rather surprising discovery—a cheeky wolf already locked in jail. However, the mystery deepened when they found that the wolf had left behind a QR code, inviting them to hear his side of the story.
After listening carefully to the story from the wolf’s perspective, the children demonstrated great curiosity by generating a wide range of thoughtful questions.
Primary 1 then took part in ‘Once Upon a Court’, where they stepped into the role of jurors. They questioned both the pigs and the wolf, showing excellent listening skills, confidence, and critical thinking as they worked to determine who was telling the truth.
Following careful consideration of the evidence and some impressive questioning, the children cast their votes. The final verdict was that the wolf was guilty.
This was a highly engaging and imaginative way to bring the story to life.
