This year P3 took part in the ‘If you were an engineer, what would you do?’ competition. This was an annual STEM challenge. It tasked P3 with interviewing an engineer, identifying a real-world problem, and designing a creative solution through annotated drawings and persuasive writing. We are very proud of all the children. They all received a certificate for taking part, with many receiving a merit for their efforts. We were especially proud of one child who was awarded Highly Commended. Aoife has now been invited to the Exhibition and Awards Event in the University of Ulster, to recognise and celebrate this fantastic achievement. Well done to everyone in P3 for their efforts!
